With significant offices in London, Bristol and Birmingham, the firm has the ability to service work at both the regional and national levels. We represent clients ranging from hotel owners and investors, to pub and gastro pub operators, leisure developers and landlords, celebrity chefs, restaurateurs (both individual and multiple) and funders.

The firm’s approach is to work in close partnership with clients and to identify the industry issues which are of particular relevance and importance to them. This allows us to deliver unique and flexible legal services, often challenging conventional thinking.

The Leisure team has extensive experience across the range of day-to-day regulatory and commercial issues which the hospitality sector faces. These include employment, buying and selling businesses, raising finance, property transactions, procurement of equipment and technology, promotions, advertising and media, disputes and tax investigations including tronc schemes and health & safety.

Peter Moody has been a legal advisor to the Restaurant Association for the last 10 years. In that time he has worked both with the RA and with many of its members, dealing with issues from a strategic business level down to representation in Courts. In recent times he has advised numerous restaurateurs on problems surrounding tronc schemes and on commercial arrangements for the exploitation of intellectual property rights for celebrity chefs.
