Tim’s extensive experience of working with central government departments and agencies includes six years as deputy legal adviser at GCHQ in Cheltenham where he led the in-house legal team on the award- winning £1.2 Billion New Accommodation PFI deal.
Tim has also advised Cabinet Office, HMPS, Home Office and other departments on a number of complex procurements including multi-user/multi-supplier framework agreements; the ‘in-house’ exemption and on the use of the competitive dialogue award procedure .
Having worked for a number of years on strategic public/private collaborations his understanding of the public law issues; propriety; project governance and risk management mean that he is ideally placed to advise on and support public sector clients on a wide range of commercial transactions.:-

Tim, who joined on 2 January, will be working from the firm’s London and Bristol offices.
