Bevan Brittan LLP has appointed Ian IIersic, as an Associate within its banking practice. Ian joins Bevan Brittan from Wragge & Co.

Ian has a wealth of experience in banking and finance including acquisition finance, property finance, project finance, asset finance and general corporate lending and security work. He has advised banks, venture capitalists, corporate lenders and borrowers and has advised on a number of international deals.

Ian will work with Banking Partners Philippa Chadwick and Partner Hugo Coetzee.

Our banking practice has gone from strength to strength in a highly competitive marketplace. We have developed the practice by focussing on a small core of banks, borrowers and public sector clients in the key sectors health, leisure, education, housing and waste. Ian’s skills and expertise will complement our existing practice as we continue to grow.”

Bevan Brittan’s banking practice is primarily bank-led, with particular expertise in Project Finance.

The team act for a wide variety of institutional lenders, corporate borrowers, Local Authorities, Regional Development Agencies and NHS Trusts in relation to the arrangement of finance for project (PFI/PPP), property and development finance transactions as well as matters such as grant funding, working capital facilities and assisting with corporate finance transactions.
