Organised through ProHelp, the event provided advice and guidance to a range of organisations including those that work in the arts, education, environment, as well as women’s and youth groups, all of which are based across Birmingham and the region. Advice was given on 'Atypical Workers' and delegates received an update on the latest issues surrounding discrimination, as well being able to ask questions during a ‘Q&A’ session which was well received.
Business in the Community’s ProHelp is a national network of 1,000 professional firms committed to making a difference in their local community by providing free advice and professional support.
Bevan Brittan’s Community Connections program aims to support community and voluntary sector organisations. An element of this is its involvement with Business in the Community, an organisation which inspires, engages, supports and challenges companies to continually improve the impact they have on society.
