Five brave lawyers and support staff from Bevan
Brittan LLP abseiled a 350ft high London
landmark on Friday 9 March, raising over £1200
for the UK’s leading children’s charity, NCH.
London-based Trainee Solicitors David Moore and
Gareth Burton; Associate
Rob Pfitzner;
Admin Assistant Mark
Crowley and Secretary Sarah Lazell all
successfully took up the challenge and abseiled
down 25 storeys at the Union Jack Club building
near Waterloo.
No previous experience was required as a team of
highly skilled and experienced instructors were
provided by NCH to equip participants with all
they needed; ensuring the experience was as safe
and enjoyable as possible.
Bevan Brittan takes corporate social
responsibility very seriously. Its pro bono and
charitable support
programmes
are focused on children and young people, with
NCH
being its current chosen charity.
NCH Fundraiser Kate Radford, said: “I would like
to say a huge thank you to the people from Bevan
Brittan who took part in the abseil. £1200 is a
huge amount to raise and we’re very grateful;
this will go a long way to help
all
of the children and families supported in NCH’s
projects.”
