Bevan Brittan has secured a trio of new appointments to continue its recent investment in Birmingham.

Employment specialist Lisa Norman joined the firm’s Birmingham office as an associate on 18th February after more than four years at the local arm of DLA Piper.

Lisa, who was promoted to associate at DLA Piper three years ago, has also previously worked for the Engineering Employers Federation (EEF) and is currently a policy advisor to the Birmingham branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Lara Feghali has also joined Bevan Brittan as an assistant in the Birmingham employment team. Lara, who began in her new role on 11th February, joins the firm after two years at Hempsons in Harrogate. She specialises in employment work in the healthcare sector.

Both Lara and Lisa will work closely with partner Sara Woffenden, who oversees Bevan Brittan’s employment team in Birmingham.

Commenting on the dual appointments, Sara Woffenden said: “The recent arrival of Lisa and Lara is terrific news for Bevan Brittan and underlines the growing reputation of our national employment practice. Their arrival is a boost not just for Birmingham but for the firm as a whole and we look forward to working with them.“

Meanwhile, Rhiannon Paddock has also joined Bevan Brittan in Birmingham as an assistant in the commercial team. Rhiannon arrives from the Liverpool arm of Hill Dickinson and specialises in all aspects of primary care work for the NHS and private sector, including the management of primary care professionals and contracts, NHS regulation & governance work. In her new role at Bevan Brittan, she will work closely with commercial health partner Melanie Print.

The trio of new appointments coincide with a period of prolonged investment in Bevan Brittan’s Birmingham office and follow the hire of commercial litigation associate Paul Kirkpatrick, who joined the firm in January from Wragge & Co.
