Some examples
Prior to becoming Chief Executive in May 2003, I advised Partnerships for Health (a joint venture of
Partnerships UK and the Department of Health) on an
initiative to invest £1bn into new primary healthcare
facilities.
I advised Rolls-Royce on their participation in the £9bn PFI
scheme for the Future Strategic Tanker Aircraft.
I advised the AMEC/Vosper Thornycroft consortium on its bid
for the Royal School of Military Engineering PPP project.
I advised MoD on the Naval Recruiting and Training Agency
partnering project, and on the first PFI project let under
this arrangement, the Fire Fighting Training Unit.
I am advising private sector consortia and funders on a
number of other PPP and PFI projects in the defence sector
and in education and accommodation schemes.
I continue to sit on the
Steering Committee of the DFES Building Schools For The
Future Project.
I am
recommended by the Legal 500 for my work with
private sector consortia and was described by Chambers as having
‘an excellent knowledge of the MoD sector’ and for being
‘technically astute’.
