My background

What I do
I work as a property lawyer for a range of commercial clients, doing everything for them from commercial leases and ongoing management of property portfolios through to purchasing greenfield sites that they can build on and perhaps sell on as an investment. Increasingly, my work has involved PFI structured deals and I am constantly thinking of stamp duty saving schemes and development schemes for all my clients. Being involved in the day to day running of a client’s property estate gives me a real feel for the problems involved in their business which in turn allows me to deliver the solutions they need.

I have advised on a £10m refurbishment of a property in Bath.
I have advised on the disposal of various sites totalling over £80m in value.
I have worked on a £14m joint venture for a retail park in Swansea.
