The property team at Bevan Brittan provides specialist legal advice in all aspects of commercial property, including development work, landlord and tenant matters and secured lending, with a special focus on Property Development and financing private sector clients.

Our clients are commercially minded organisations or individuals and include major PLCs, pension funds, property developers and investors, house builders, government departments, regional development agencies, NHS bodies, housing associations and social landlords. We provide an effective, timely and fuss free solution to our client’s property needs enabling them to achieve their goals.


The Role

This is a team role within the national property team which has a high profile, repeat business client base. As this is an expanding area of the firm’s practice, the ability to build and sustain strong relationships with clients and colleagues is paramount, as too is the ability to demonstrate evidence of successful business development.

It is expected that the successful candidate will assist in the development of the property team in Birmingham which requires the successful candidate to be highly capable of motivating and encouraging the team to provide an excellent client service.

For the ambitious individual, there is real scope to take this role to partnership level.

The Individual

  • Good standard of property training, across all areas of property.
  • Strong team player, capable of engaging and leading colleagues.
  • Pro-active individual with strong interpersonal skills and an ability or desire to pro-actively develop client relationships
  • Project management skills, utilising systems where appropriate.
  • Priority and time management skills.
  • Flexible approach.
  • Organised, with lateral thinking skills and an eye for detail.
  • Able to cope with pressures associated with the handling multiple caseloads.
